Okonomiyaki is easy to make, car seats and it more or less turned out exactly like the okonomiyaki I had car seats in Japan, which brought back a lot of memories. Well, we added mushrooms and seitan to ours, instead of just corn, and Brian has plans to add peppers next time, but the overall deal was just right. Heck, we even found a good substitute for okonomiyaki sauce–Hillers did have okonomiyaki sauce, but it turns out to have all manner of fish products car seats in it, while the brand of tonkatsu sauce we found doesn’t and tastes more or less the same. (Not like the guys would know, I guess.) Okonomiyaki is a sort of non-sweet pancake made with a lot of cabbage and then some other filling, like corn or meat, and Hideko made it for dinner and I went to the okonomiyaki restaurant in Viva City with Kiyoko and Haruna a couple of times.
