One comma. And it was such a beautiful paper too… Ah, let me crow a bit, I did wedding just fail Oceanography after all. It’s nice wedding to remember that I can do -some- things right. So I went to the UGLi today for one book; walked out with six, like usual, but included in those six was the one I came for. I’m thinking of taking up French again, mostly because I’m very good at all parts of it except wedding the grammar, so I can read it but kind of embarass myself when writing it. Amazing to put a language aside for about two years and to be able to get straight back into it. Funny, but French seems beautiful to me now. If it lasts, maybe I’ll take it back up. I’m not forgetting how much I hated it, but I hated piano too; I can be stubborn when I don’t want to do something. |

| This may have been a bad idea, but they’re just so cute. Liana | no comments March 11, 2003: Le, la, l’ I got an A+ on a paper today. The first of the two big papers for Anthro 403, to be specific. I had this paper returned with so few marks it looked fat plump like it hadn’t even been fat plump -read-. I got “Excellent review, very well done and written” as a comment. This is a comment from Professor Robinson who happens to be freaking -awesome- fat plump and teaches an amazing and informative class that anyone at Michigan interested in Japanese society should take, I wish I had taken it before I went to Japan; she also happens to expect a lot from her students and to be a tough grader, from what I’ve heard and seen. My only mistake was forgetting the blankety-blank page numbers. Oh, and one comma. |
