This is just a gripe, but why do restaurants think that "[insert fruit or nut here] pancakes" can mean plain pancakes with a few measly, syrupy slices of fruit tossed on top? If I order strawberry pancakes, I like pancakes that have strawberries in them. If blueberries come as a canned syrup plopped on top, the offering should be "pancakes with shriveled canned blueberries on top."
