I was being provocative as befits the gowns usual badinage I have with Playlouder's very own Richard O'Sullivan-a-like- but there was a serious point going back to a woman's right (and indeed a man's right) to wear what they please and that choice does not entail a reflection of their inner mental state or any self-loathing- this could just as well apply to women who dress 'pretty' or 'sexy'- perhaps the 'trendy/ugly' look is a means to subvert the conventional 'look' that men (and other women) expect/demand ok?
