Where the choice to go out and build a career was previously denied / limited, now the choice to stay at home with the kids is treated the same way. This is progress? Women now often find themselves in a position where they have to work winery reviews full time to make ends meet and the idea that they might find raising a family full time (it is ultimately harder work, more rewarding and generally of greater benefit to society as a whole for one parent to care for the nippers full time) is looked upon with disdain. |
