Laura Nesbitt, Bristol Oh I don't know!! Choices fruits choices! I think I'll opt for The Beat's Mirror in the Bathroom. It's a great ska tune with really great lyrics, "can I take you to a restaurant that's got glass tables, you can watch yourself while you are eating", but is dark at the same time. Brilliant. But then, can you ever really beat fruits a bit of Lip up Fatty?... grom, Leeds. The Specials version of "A Message To You Rudi" is still my all-time favourite but I'm a sucker for anything from Jackie Mittoo right through to Sublime and fruits beyond. Currently I seem to be finding plenty of good Spanish/Mexican ska out there but it's still hard to find the good stuff when it's rarely played on the radio (big thanks to Phill Jupitus for slipping in the occassional track).
