| I felt defeated and was ready to write the city and everyone in it off. Then this weekend, I drive up a road and see the lights of all the houses nestled up in the hills and think, “This place is amazing.” I don’t really know what was different about this weekend. slimming I guess nobody blew me off, so that was something. But this weekend, I didn’t get discouraged. I went out and slimming did my thing, despite not having anyone slimming to do it with…and I just enjoyed myself. Moving someplace new and trying to establish yourself takes work. Sometimes I’m just not up to the challenge. Truth be told, I’m not sure I’m ever really “up” for the challenge. But there are times when I just have to say, “fuck it.” My time here, however long it ends up being, will only amount to whatever I make of it. |
