I hope that in future issues old school hip hop we’ll be able to explore issues of interest to old school hip hop “Crohnies” and UCers, including new treatments, who gets Crohn’s or UC and why, and what diseases we’re vulnerable to. The reason we’re going to do that in future issues, instead of this one, is I had a flare of my Crohn’s disease close to deadline and lost the energy to do the research for other, meatier topics (a loss of energy I hope you can sympathize with). Fortunately, Brett Hodges also wants his new newsletter authors to talk a bit about themselves and their experiences with their disease and remedies they have used. You as a reader probably also want to know what my credibility is as a writer. The answer is I have had a wide experience of medicine for Crohn’s, tested and experimental, medical and surgical, allopathic and naturopathic.
