Saturday, July 31, 2004 After plump dj's spending the day exploring Tokyo, we went to the city fireworks. There were so many people in the streets. It was so crowded that you couldn’t actually walk through convenience stores because the entire store was filled with the line plump dj's for the checkout. To watch the plump dj's fireworks, we found a street that was wide enough that we could see a considerable section of the sky and sat down on the street. It was annoying to have tons of people walking or standing in your line of sight sometimes, but I guess that is just part of the fireworks watching experience in Japan. The show lasted exactly an hour and we found the grand finale to be a bit lacking. It was never-the-less a fun time. Sunday, August 01, 2004 I had a wonderful time in Japan, but it is good to be back in the States.
