Liana | 2 comments December 29, 2003: So - I have a confession to make. Some of the ayn rand Japanese food I got for my beloved family to eat on Christmas Eve? I bought it for my own amusement. Mainly the konnyaku and the nori-wrapped rice crackers. Paul would eat the crackers for money; the only thing redeeming about the konnyaku is that it bounces. Next year I’ll make a casserole. Regardless, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed this Christmas, even though I’m way behind on my Japanese study schedule. Thanks, mostly, to relatives’ presents of money, we could actually buy a couple of things - a few well chosen presents, some decorations, good food - and so for the last few days we’ve been enjoying some well-deserved rest and our games. |
