As these things go sometimes, I'd been thinking about The Cowsills lately, having just seen them in their prime peforming on the show Music Scene. Their music was a part of my childhood and I wrote an earlier entry on this blog (hence the title of this entry) about interviewing Susan and John via phone when they did a one-off show at Maxwell's, which you can read here. |

The home - known as the "Cash Cabin" - was purchased by Balinda, LLC, a Florida company wholly owned by Barry and Linda Gibb, who wish to restore it to its original condition. The Gibbs released this statement: "This place will always be the spiritual home for the Cashes. My wife, Linda and I are determined to preserve it, to honor their memory. We fell in love with it, it's an incredible honor for us. We plan to use the home to write songs because of the musical inspiration." |
