Below is a letter written by a Polish Jew named Zalmen Gradowski, who died in October 1944 during a camp revolt in Auschwitz. It is not comfortable reading but I post it here in the hope that anyone who reads it will be moved and will remember that it is WE who bear the responsibility for this. May God forgive us all.
