(unless i agree to the ridiculous oracle 13k a mth rent )so i decided it's high time i do the most dreaded apartment searching. With 18k HKD(ard 4k sgd) allowance from my oracle company for rental/mth & the policy that any utilised amt becomes mine, i have to exercise my smart shopper instincts to find the best apt @ the lowest rental to maximise my monthly income! & trust oracle me.. its sooo fucking tough! U think a new condominium in sg has small rooms? Wait till u see those in HK.. Its so pathetic i dun think my king size bed back home can fit into ANY room i've seen today.. except 1 which is actually 2bedrooms knocked into 1. PATHETIC! A roundup of my housing adventure today.... Midlevels - 15k budget the upside: The famous rich expat area in HK.. rite above Lan Kwai Fong, SOHO area with all the fine restaurants. Loads of angmohs - definitely expat lifestyle, wine and dine like u are fucking rich.
